SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICES

Sundays, May 27-Sept. 2 @ 9:30 AM

Summer is a wonderful time of year to worship at Saint Luke for all members of the family. We gather together each Sunday during the summer. Our PrayGround for infants and toddlers will be available in the sanctuary, or parents are welcome to use our staffed nursery. Children ages 3-8 are dismissed from service after the children's sermon to enjoy Children's Church.

SUMMER CHOIR

Sundays, May 27-Sept. 2 @ 9:00 AM

All singers, high-school through adults, are invited to meet in the choir room at 9:00 AM on Sunday mornings to learn a simple anthem that will be sung at the 9:30 worship service. No experience necessary. All are welcome to participate and get a taste of the fun that our choir has each week!

WEDNESDAY WORSHIP

Wednesdays, July 11-Aug. 29 @ 7:30 PM

Take time this summer to look at various "Pictures of Faith," as Saint Luke members share regarding favorite pieces of religious art. Simple worship in the sanctuary occurs weekly with music, the word and communion. Gather with us  for worship from 7:30-8:30 PM. Our PrayGround will be available in the sanctuary. Feel free to come early to walk the labyrinth.

SAINT LUKE READS

This summer, as a congregation, we will be reading "Being Mortal" by surgeon Atul Gawande. He tackles the hardest challenge of his profession: how medicine can not only improve life but also the process and dignity with which life ends. Gawande offers examples of freer, more socially fulfilling models for assisting the infirm and dependent elderly, and he explores the varieties of hospice care to demonstrate that a person's last weeks or months may be rich and dignified. There will be opportunities to contemplate this topic throughout the summer.
