Sunday Education Hour
Christian Education programs are offered from 9:15-10:15am during the education year, which runs from the first Sunday after Labor Day and concludes the Sunday before Memorial Day weekend. Programs are available for children, students, and adults. No advanced registration is necessary. Details about classroom locations are updated on the bulletin board in the Education Wing.
SAINT LUKE KIDS
Nursery- Nursery care is available during education hour from those 0-2years old.
Parents & Twos- This class is designed to be enjoyed by two year olds and their parents. Not only does it give the toddlers a chance to learn and grow, but it also is a great place to build relationships among other young families.
Kid’s Sunday School- Kids ages 3yrs old up to 6th grade experience safe, fun, age-appropriate environments where they learn about what it means to know, love, and serve Christ. Classes are divided by age/grade.
SPARK STUDENT MINISTRIES
Confirmation- This is the place for all 7th-9th grade students to connect with one another, have fun, as well as explore what faith means to them. Confirmation also allow students to explore, discover and declare their Lutheran beliefs. For those looking to affirm their beliefs publicly, Confirmation Sunday is celebrated on the first Sunday in March during a student’s 9th grade year. Students gather each Sunday in the lower level classroom of the Education wing.
ADULTS
Table Talk- Using the ECLA’s magazine Living Lutheran, Table Talk will explore inspiring stories of God's people living their faith, news and information, theological insights and more. Table Talk provides a welcoming space to have a conversation about faith and our daily lives. Table Talk gathers each Sunday in the conference room.
Bible Study- Looking to grow in faith? Join this weekly, ongoing in-depth study of different books of the Bible. Conversation and discussion format encourages learning and better understanding of a wide range of Biblical topics.
Special Events- Throughout there year special events offered such as forums related to current issues, special presentations about relevant topics, and Coffee with Council, a gathering with council members to discuss current congregational happenings.
