Martin Luther’s Small Catechism is considered to be the best expression of what it means to follow Jesus through a Lutheran lens. While many confirmation classes discover and explore the catechism, its original audience was not so much children and teenagers, but adults. We will gather with refreshments for lively discussions about the power of the Small Catechism for adult disciples who are ready to explore the heart of the gospel message. As we recover the original intent of thisHandbook for the Journey, we may well say with Katie Luther that “Everything in this book was said about me.”
