Rev. Dr. William Flippin, Jr., the newest member of our synod staff, will be sharing with us about the exciting work of the synod. He currently serves as the Assistant to the Bishop and Director of Evangelical Mission for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Synod, ELCA. His portfolio includes congregational vitality, redevelopment and new start congregations, working with rostered ministers in the Leadership for Faithful Innovation cohort, and walking alongside at-risk congregations.

Your holiday shopping can make a difference in the world. The market will be open both days from 9:00am- 3:00pm and will feature hand-made and fair-trade "alternatives" to standard commercial holiday gifts. Your purchases will support local artisans and people in need around the world. Please consider bringing a non-perishable food donation for the Great Valley Food Cupboard when you come to the market. Check out the market on Facebook for the latest updates! DIY Pet Photos with Santa will also be available from 9am-3pm on Saturday and 12pm-3pm on Sunday in the courtyard. Donations will benefit Spark Student Ministries. Photos will be relocated inside in case of inclement weather.

Kerr will share on "The Greatness of Gratitude.” Pastor Kerr is the is Executive Director of Lutheran Bible Ministries and Stated Supply for St. Paul in Norristown, PA. He lives in King of Prussia with Joanne, his wife of 60 years. They have three children and seven grandchildren.

Fall Food Drive

During the season of Thanksgiving, we will collect non-perishable food and cleaning items for our local food pantry. Cereal, granola bars, crackers, mayo, ketchup, mustard, juice boxes, oatmeal, paper goods, toothbrushes, and toothpaste are in short supply right. If you’re able to provide these for one of the 125 families served each month by the Great Valley Food Cupboard, please drop them off in the box outside Schlack Hall by November 17th.

Kick Off Sunday

Join us as we kick off the start of another exciting education year. Worship services will be offered weekly at 8:15am & 10:30am. Education hour (9:15am) also resumes with programming for all ages.

This week during education hour (9:15am), there will be opportunities to learn about all the upcoming faith formation programs, sign up for upcoming events, and even help in our God’s Work, Our Hands project of decorating a kindness box. These boxes will later be filled with food for those in need. Kids will also have the chance to meet their Sunday School teachers, see their classrooms, and take a photo with Luke the Monkey.

Faith Like A Child

Children have such a unique way of looking at the world, especially in matters of faith. This summer, we will explore what it means to have "Faith like a Child," as Saint Luke members introduce faith topics through children’s literature. Simple worship in the sanctuary occurs weekly with music, the word and communion. Gather with us for worship from 7:30-8:30 PM. Our PrayGround will be available in the sanctuary.
